Privacy policy
This policy explains what happens to personal data in connection with oriqdryfire.com. It is short because the site does very little with data.
Who is responsible
ORiQ is responsible for the processing described here. You can reach us at hello@oriqdryfire.com for any question or request about your data.
What this site collects
This website is a set of static pages. It contains:
- No analytics or measurement tools. We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any comparable service.
- No cookies set by us, and no local storage used to identify or profile you.
- No forms, no sign-up, no accounts. There is nothing on the site to fill in and submit.
- No advertising or tracking scripts, and no third-party embeds that would load such scripts.
Because of this, simply reading these pages does not create a profile of you on our side.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify processes technical request data on our behalf, which can include your IP address, the requested URL, timestamp, referring page and browser user-agent string. This is standard infrastructure logging used to serve the site and to protect it from abuse. We do not combine these logs with anything else, and we do not use them to identify individual visitors.
The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If you email us
Writing to hello@oriqdryfire.com is the only way to share personal data with us through this site. When you do, we receive and store whatever your message contains: at minimum your email address and the text you wrote, plus anything else you choose to include.
We use it for one purpose only, which is to answer you and to continue that conversation. We do not add your address to a mailing list, and we do not sell, rent or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us, and where relevant the performance of steps taken at your request prior to a contract (Article 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).
How long we keep it
Email correspondence is kept as long as it stays relevant to the conversation or to our legitimate business record, and is deleted when it no longer is. You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal data of yours we hold, and get a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- ask us to restrict how we use it;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- lodge a complaint with your data protection supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these, email hello@oriqdryfire.com. We will not charge you for it and we will not make you jump through hoops.
International transfers
Our hosting and our email are provided by companies based in the United States, so data related to serving this site and to your correspondence with us may be processed there. Where required, such transfers rely on the appropriate safeguards offered by those providers.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If the site changes in a way that affects data handling, for example if we ever add a form or a shop, we will update this page and change the date at the top before that change goes live.
