Terms of use

These terms govern your use of oriqdryfire.com, the website of ORiQ. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please stop using the site.

What this site is

This is an informational website about a training system that is currently in development. It exists to describe the product, to say honestly where the project stands, and to give you a way to contact us.

Nothing on this site is an offer to sell. There is no shop, no cart, no checkout and no payment function. No prices are quoted and no orders can be placed. See Sales & fulfillment for the detail.

Statements about a product in development

The ORiQ system is at prototype and concept stage. Descriptions of components, materials, features, app functionality and future plans reflect our intentions and our current design at the time of writing. They are not specifications of a finished commercial product, and they may change as development continues. Nothing here should be read as a binding commitment that a particular feature will exist in a particular form, or by a particular date.

Photography and third-party products

The platforms shown in photographs on this site are airsoft replicas, used to demonstrate how the ORiQ mounts and modules attach. They are the property of the people who appear in or supplied them for those photographs.

ORiQ does not manufacture, sell, distribute or broker firearms, ammunition, regulated firearm parts, or any weapon. The products described on this site are phone mounts, a handheld grip, an electronic input module and a mobile application. Brand names and trade marks of any third-party equipment visible in photographs belong to their respective owners, and their appearance does not imply any endorsement, sponsorship or partnership in either direction.

Safe and lawful practice

Dry-fire and replica-based practice carries responsibility. Whatever equipment you train with, you are responsible for handling it safely, for following the manufacturer's instructions for that equipment, and for complying with all laws that apply where you are. Rules on the ownership, transport and use of airsoft replicas and of firearms differ significantly between countries and between regions within them. Nothing on this site is safety instruction, training certification or legal advice.

Intellectual property

The ORiQ name, the ORiQ wordmark, the product names used on this site, and the text, layout, photography and code of the site itself are owned by ORiQ or used with permission. You may read, link to and quote reasonable extracts from these pages with attribution. You may not copy the site wholesale, reuse the photography commercially, or present our material as your own.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to interfere with the site or the infrastructure it runs on, do not try to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, and do not use it to distribute unlawful or malicious material.

External links

This site links to third-party pages, including our crowdfunding campaign and our social media presence. Those services are operated by other companies under their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content or their conduct.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is. We put real effort into keeping the information here accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, error-free or continuously available.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ORiQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or your reliance on information published on it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and if you are a consumer, this clause does not affect your statutory rights.

Changes

We may update these terms as the project develops. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
